Rich in fibre and mucilage, Fibrecare rapidly increases transit time through the bowel by absorbing water and increasing the stool volume. It is also valuable for controlling diarrhea since psyllium bonds with water. Fibrecare reduces post-feeding sugar spikes and is therefore useful in insulin-resistant horses. It has a blend of herbs known for reducing all types of colic. Fibrecare is an excellent choice to feed travelling horses as it helps maintain gut motility. It may be fed with Ulcer mix to horses on the long haul south for the winter season.
